Although lately it is time and again covered for reasons of restoration, the Church of our Lady is the city’s landmark. The church, built in 1494, is due to its almost 99m high towers, one of the most beautiful sights in Munich and its surroundings. No building in the downtown area, can exceed the height of the towers of this late Gothic church. You will find the only observation platform in the south tower. Inside, there are four different organs, as well as a bronze relief of Pope Benedict XVI.
