Rosa Maria Erb, boss of the newly built guest house Erb with bowling alley, a swimming pool with sauna and 20 guest rooms, each with its own bathroom and telephone, leads her house with friendly and Bavarian direct kind – and becomes so fast also nationwide known. The guesthouse is also popular with business travelers and crews arriving from the nearby Munich Riem Airport.
In the “TV room” with two large tables and a black and white TV for the guests is the origin of the hotel bar. Who unknowingly puts on Rosis regular place, must pay the local round. There is Andechser bottled beer and generously poured Obstler from Lake Constance. “2 cl is something for the hollow tooth,” she says.
For 20 years, Rosi, as her friends lovingly call her, managed the small guesthouse alone – and many of her regulars at the time became friends and kept in touch with her regardless of her visits. In 1988, the current Hotel am Posthalterring with 30 rooms was built, which took over Rosis son, Christian Erb, almost ten years later.
Since then it has been constantly renewed and more rooms, comfort room, three Conference rooms and the Almdorf Spa with five saunas and a relaxation room expanded.
The gastronomic offer was extended to include the Almgrill restaurant in 2017 – and there are already ideas and plans that will make Hotel Erb an attractive place to rest and meet in the future.
One thing will not change in the future: Rosis Bar is a large living room for our guests – for chatting, working and meeting friends. Rosi and many others have already found their own favorite place here. They also?
